jeera biscuit always goes well as tea time snack. it is very healthy for kids too and your whole family gonna love it. it is made with whole wheat flour that is pure healthy if you want you can replace it with All-purpose flour too. But I always prefer my cookies made with whole wheat. with very simple ingredients and process you can make it at your home and delight your family. in my next article will post some more cookies recipe too.
Recipe of Jeera biscuits
Jeera biscuits / jeera cookies / jeera biscuits recipe / cumin cookies
1/2 cup ghee or you can take butter too.
1.5 cup wheat flour
salt as per taste
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp Jeera/Cumin seeds
4 tbsp milk

At first, take 1/2 cup of ghee in a bowl and mix well.
Sieve 1 1/2 cup of wheat flour,salt ,baking powder,baking soda into ghee.
Add 1 tbsp of jeera and mix well.
mix all the ingredients like crumble texture.
After that add milk and start to prepare the dough.
just try to combine softly altogether, do not knead hard.
After kneading shape it out into cylindrical log well and wrap it well then refrigerete this for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes take it our from refrigerator. and cut into square shape with little thickness.
Spread some butter or ghee over baking pan and place all the cookies in that. sprinkle some cumin over the cookies and press gently.
Preheat the Mw at 180 degree celsius and bake jeera cookies for 15 minutes.
Now, cool it completely and your yummy , crunchy jeera cookies are ready to eat. Enjoy it with hot cup of tea or coffee. store it in air tight container, it will be fresh for a week.
